2-Day Zanzibar Tour
This 2-day Zanzibar escape is designed for travellers with limited time who still want to experience the magic of the Spice Island. In just 48 hours you'll immerse yourself in Stone Town, the UNESCO World Heritage old quarter of winding coral-stone alleyways, carved wooden doors, and centuries of Swahili, Arab, and Persian history. A morning visit to a working spice farm lets you taste and smell the cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla that built the island's fortunes — then the afternoon brings you to the powdery white sands and warm turquoise water of the east coast beaches for a blissful evening and morning before departure.
Your private guide and driver handle every transfer and logistic from airport pickup to beach drop-off, leaving you free to simply absorb the best of Zanzibar in a short but deeply satisfying visit. Ideal as a post-safari add-on or a standalone long-weekend getaway.
Wander a UNESCO World Heritage labyrinth of coral-stone alleys, carved doors, spice markets, and centuries of layered Swahili Coast history in an exhilarating morning tour.
Walk through a working plantation and taste cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, and turmeric fresh from the source — the trade that gave Zanzibar its name.
Powder-white sand and shallow, warm, turquoise water make the east coast perfect for a sunset swim, a beach dinner, and a slow morning before departure.
Every hour is thoughtfully planned so you see and experience the island's very best in just two days — without ever feeling rushed or over-scheduled.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your Zanzibar escape begins the moment you land at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ). A Africa Endless Cruising representative greets you just beyond customs for a short transfer into Stone Town — the UNESCO World Heritage heart of the island. After dropping your bags at your hotel, a knowledgeable local guide leads you through the old quarter's most iconic highlights: the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Anglican Cathedral built on the site of the former slave market, and the narrow coral-stone alleys lined with the island's famous carved wooden doors.
After a light lunch in Stone Town, you head to a working spice farm just outside the city, where a guide walks you through groves of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and cardamom — crushing leaves and peeling bark so you can smell and taste each spice at the source. This hands-on experience explains how Zanzibar earned its legendary nickname of "Spice Island."
By mid-afternoon your driver transfers you to the east coast — about an hour's drive across the island. As you arrive, the turquoise Indian Ocean comes into view and the island's slower rhythm takes hold. Check in, catch the sunset over the water, and dine on freshly caught seafood at your resort's beach restaurant for the perfect first-night finale.
Wake to the sound of the Indian Ocean and savour breakfast at your resort. Even on a short stay, the east coast delivers — the morning light on the water is spectacular, and a quick swim or a walk along the shoreline before checkout feels like a proper holiday moment. If the tide is in your favour, take one final dip in the warm, crystal-clear water before you pack.
Your private transfer to Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ) departs timed precisely to your flight. Our team coordinates every detail — luggage collection, check-in confirmation, and a smooth handover at the terminal. As the island disappears below you, two days of spice markets, carved doorways, and turquoise ocean will leave you already thinking about coming back for longer.
The island's highlights distilled into one perfect, seamless escape.
