Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure kicks off promptly at 8 a.m., with a convenient pick-up from your Arusha hotel. After everyone is settled in, the journey commences towards Tarangire National Park. Covering approximately 150 kilometers, the drive typically takes around 3 hours.
En route, prepare to be mesmerized by the ancient and imposing Baobab trees, casting their shadow over the landscape and making even the tallest giraffes appear diminutive. The game drive unfolds, offering captivating sightings until late afternoon, punctuated by a delightful picnic lunch break.
Spanning over 3,000 square kilometers, Tarangire National Park owes its name to the meandering Tarangire River, a magnet for a rich diversity of wildlife. Expect to encounter a plethora of majestic creatures, including elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, and zebras. Renowned for its remarkable elephant population, the park provides an exceptional opportunity to witness intricate family dynamics among these gentle giants.
As the sun sets on your exhilarating day, return to your camp or lodge, where a sumptuous dinner awaits. Rest well, for tomorrow promises another day of thrilling adventures.
Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After a hearty breakfast, set your course for Serengeti National Park, where you’ll traverse through vast expanses of endless plains. Aptly named, Serengeti means “endless plains” in the local African dialect, offering a mesmerizing sight as grasslands extend to meet the sky on the distant horizon. This renowned park is home to the majestic “Big 5” and hosts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa.
Within the Serengeti lies the Seronera area, a thriving wildlife habitat centered around the Seronera River, a vital water source. Keep a keen eye out for the numerous lion prides that roam this region. Amidst your day-long game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wildlife spectacle. As night falls, indulge in a hearty dinner and retreat to your comfortable accommodations for a well-deserved rest.

Full Day Serengeti
You’ll kick off your day with a hearty breakfast, aiming to start by 8 a.m. Between mid-June and September, the region experiences an awe-inspiring migration phenomenon. The Mara River, particularly from mid-June to September, hosts the most spectacular river crossing of the great migration. This river, fueled by heavy rains, is fierce and deep, posing significant challenges to the migrating wildebeest. Witnessing these majestic creatures navigate the turbulent waters, with some succumbing to the currents and others falling prey to lurking crocodiles, leaves an indelible mark on observers. If luck is on your side, you may witness this remarkable natural spectacle unfold before your eyes, allowing nature to follow its course.
Following the migration trail, you may venture towards the Lobo Valley. During the dry season, this valley’s permanent water sources attract a plethora of resident and migratory animals. A full-day game drive will include a stop for a picnic lunch, allowing you to refuel amidst the wilderness. As the day draws to a close, indulge in a delicious dinner and retire for a well-deserved rest at your chosen accommodation.
Full Day Serengeti
Embarking on your day promptly at 8 AM following a hearty breakfast, today’s journey leads you southward towards the heart of the Serengeti. The four-hour drive to the central region promises glimpses of wildlife along the way. Transitioning from the Mara river valley, you traverse through diverse landscapes—hilly terrain, the Lobo area, woodlands, and finally, the renowned Seronera terrain.
The Seronera area, nestled in the central Serengeti, boasts abundant wildlife, making it a prime destination for safari enthusiasts. As you venture deeper into Seronera, the terrain shifts from rugged hills to expansive grasslands. Keep a keen eye out for the numerous lion prides that call this region home, offering captivating sightings and encounters throughout the year.
A leisurely picnic lunch punctuates the day-long drive, providing sustenance amidst the adventure. As night falls, a sumptuous dinner awaits, followed by a well-deserved rest in comfortable accommodations. Tomorrow, your journey continues towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, promising further exploration and discovery.
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Following breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through the stunning landscapes of Serengeti National Park. Afterwards, journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a picnic lunch along the way. Encircled by a ring of extinct volcanoes, the Ngorongoro Crater awaits, boasting unparalleled natural splendor across its expansive fourteen kilometers. Within this crater, home to around 30,000 animals, discover a mosaic of watering holes amidst diverse wildlife. Conclude this eventful day with a hearty dinner and a well-deserved night of rest at your accommodation.
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
On the final day of your safari, an early start awaits you. After a swift breakfast, you’ll descend into the crater floor around 6:30 AM. The Ngorongoro crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, spans about 260 square kilometers with a depth exceeding 2000 feet. During the 5-hour game drive on the crater floor, you’ll witness abundant wildlife activity, so keeping your camera ready is a must.
The crater is home to a variety of species, including African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool, you’ll embark on a steep ascent to the crater’s exit. This marks the final stretch of your safari, with a 4-hour drive remaining to Arusha. By 6 PM, you’ll be dropped off at your chosen location in Arusha, bidding farewell to your team with cherished memories of an incredible experience.
