Safari Itinerary
Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve (Approx 275 Km – 6 Hrs drive)
Our professional safari driver guide will be at your hotel by 0715 hrs. Meet him at the lobby at 0730 hrs. (We can also pick you up from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport aboard an early morning flight). After pre safari briefing, you will board your safari customized safari vehicle and depart for the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Shortly after leaving Nairobi, you will enjoy a photographic stop over as you descend down the floor of the Great Rift Valley where you can take photos as you enjoy the stunning views. You will then drive along the floor of the great rift, into the Masai town of Narok and further to the Mara, arriving at your lodge / tented camp for lunch. You will then enjoy your first game drive in the world famous reserve from around 1530 hrs. The Masai Mara whose eco system is a southern extension to Serengeti National Park offers the discerning traveler a life time opportunity to experience wild nature at its best.

This reserve is home to the BIG 5, which are Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Rhinos and Elephants amongst several other animal species. Masai Mara National Reserve
You will enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives at dawn and dusk respectively when the wildlife is more active. Our experienced guide with good geographical knowledge of this vast reserve will be trying to spot the animals that you may have missed the previous day .You may also opt for a near full day game drive, departing the lodge with packed lunches with the day spent in the vast park in search of wild animal sightings. Picnic lunch will be served on the banks of the Mara River where you can view hippos and Crocodiles before returning to your lodge by 1530 hrs. Rest of the day spent at leisure in your lodge relaxing or enjoying a swim.
We can also provide a complimentary visit to a Massai Village where you can meet this fabled tribesmen in their authentic Manyattas and get to learn more about them and their culture. (A minimum donation of USD 20 per person is expected, and this is handed over to the village elder). Another activity that you may partake on this day is an early morning hot air balloon safari over the Maasai Mara plains- payable locally or in advance) All meals and overnight stay atyour booked Hotel/Lodge.
Masai Mara / Depart (Approx 275 Kilometres- 6 hours driving time)
Breakfast will be served at your lodge. Check out of rooms by latest 0730 hrs. You then drive back to Nairobi. Optional lunch will be served at a restaurant (payable directly).
We will then drop you off at your hotel or transfer you to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight, (evening or night) having enjoyed a great safari to Kenya’s and Africa’s leading national park.
