Arrival at JKIA Nairobi:
Our professional transfer service will promptly meet and greet you at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and then transport you to your Nairobi hotel, where you will enjoy a half-board meal plan.
Giraffe Manor Center + Nairobi National Park:
On the first day of your extended East Africa safari adventure, you’ll commence with a visit to the Giraffe Manor Centre in the morning, followed by an afternoon exploration of Nairobi National Park. Your overnight stay will be in your pre-booked Nairobi accommodation with a full-board meal plan.
Nestled in the Lang’ata suburb of Nairobi, Giraffe Manor is a historic manor house surrounded by 12 acres of private land within a lush 140-acre indigenous forest. It stands as one of Nairobi’s most iconic landmarks and is renowned for its unique charm.
Meanwhile, Nairobi National Park, a brief drive from the city’s bustling central business district, offers a captivating landscape. The Masai Mara National Reserve is a haven for a diverse array of indigenous wildlife, with the added spectacle of the annual Wildebeest Migration occurring roughly from June to November. Aberdare National Park:
Embark on a morning game drive within Lake Nakuru National Park, and afterward, depart from Lake Nakuru to reach Aberdare National Park. Spend the night in your pre-arranged accommodation nestled within the reserve, and savor a full-board meal plan during your stay.
Aberdare National Park is a protected expanse within the Aberdare Mountain Range in central Kenya, situated to the east of the East African Rift Valley. Encompassing the higher elevations and the eastern Aberdare Salient, this park is a striking natural gem awaiting your exploration.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy:
Begin your day with a morning game drive in Aberdare National Park, followed by a scenic transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, with a delightful stopover at Thomson’s Water Falls. In the evening, partake in a game drive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and spend the night in your pre-booked accommodation within the reserve, enjoying a full board meal plan.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy, spanning an expansive 360 square kilometers, stands as a non-profit wildlife sanctuary located in the heart of Central Kenya’s Laikipia County. Nestled on the equator, west of Nanyuki, it is positioned between the foothills of the Aberdares and the majestic Mount Kenya.
Samburu Game Reserve:
Commence your day with an early morning game drive, typically from 0630 to 0900 hours, within the Conservancy, with a primary focus on observing predators in the midst of their hunting activities. Afterward, return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast, pack your belongings, and set out on your journey towards the captivating Samburu Game Reserve. Your overnight stay is secured in the pre-arranged accommodation within the reserve, inclusive of a full-board meal plan.
Samburu Reserve distinguishes itself as a unique sanctuary for wildlife conservation, renowned for its remarkable array of rare animal species, including the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, and the Beisa Oryx. The reserve is also home to a substantial elephant population, nearly 900 strong. Notably, the presence of large predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs adds to the allure, with the famous resident lioness, Kamunyak, who once nurtured a baby oryx, being a prominent attraction.
Buffalo Springs Conservancy
Embark on a thrilling game drive in both Samburu National Park and Buffalo Springs, and then unwind for the night in the accommodation you’ve reserved within the reserve, enjoying a comprehensive full board meal plan.
Buffalo Springs is a narrow, picturesque stretch of riverine forest that traces the path of the Ewaso Ngiro River. This enchanting area boasts diverse vegetation, featuring Tana River Poplar, Doum Palm, and impressive specimens of Acacia elaior. The landscape transitions through acacia tortilis woodland and extends into expansive bushland, primarily characterized by commiphola. In certain regions, you’ll encounter exposed lava rock formations interspersed with grasslands, shrubs, alkaline grasslands, and the occasional springs and swamps.
Amboseli National Park:
Depart from your hotel promptly at 7:00 AM and take a brief lunch break in Nairobi. Later, drive across the Athi Plains, passing through Namanga on the border with Tanzania. Continue your journey to the Amboseli Game Reserve, enjoying a game drive along the way, and arrive at your reserved accommodation inside the reserve in time for lunch. After a relaxing meal, take some time to rest, and at 3:00 PM, set off for an evening game drive. Your overnight stay includes a full-board meal plan.
Amboseli, despite its relatively modest size of 392 square kilometers, hosts a remarkable and delicate ecosystem that sustains a diverse array of wildlife, with well over 50 species of larger mammals and more than 400 bird species. The waters originating from Mount Kilimanjaro flow down the mountain beneath lava flows and resurface in Amboseli, creating a lush swampland oasis amid the surrounding dusty plains.
Amboseli National Park:
Embark on a morning game drive, and later, make your way to Tsavo West National Park for an evening safari adventure. Your accommodation, which includes a full-board meal plan, is already reserved within the park for your overnight stay.
Amboseli National Park is renowned for its impressive herds of elephants and a diverse range of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and a multitude of bird species. The western portion of the park is characterized by the expansive Lake Amboseli, which typically dries up outside the rainy season.
Tsavo West National Park:
Embark on an exhilarating game drive within Tsavo West National Park before being transported to Tsavo East National Park. You’ll spend the night in the accommodation you’ve reserved within the park, and your stay includes a comprehensive full-board meal plan.
Tsavo West National Park presents a more mountainous and relatively wetter terrain compared to its counterpart. It features swamps, Lake Jipe, and the renowned Mzima Springs. This region is celebrated for its remarkable birdlife and the presence of various large mammals, including black rhinos, Cape buffalos, elephants, leopards, hippos, and Masai lions. Additionally, you can also spot smaller animals such as bush babies, hartebeests, lesser kudus, and Maasai giraffes within the park.
Tsavo East National Park:
Enjoy a comprehensive full-day game drive in Tsavo East, and then spend the night in the accommodation you’ve secured within the park, complete with a full-board meal plan.
Tsavo East, which is slightly larger, is characterized by predominantly flat terrain, featuring arid plains traversed by the Galana River. Notable features of the park include the expansive Yatta Plateau and the picturesque Lugard Falls.
Departure from Mombasa International Airport:
Your driver/guide will ensure your timely transfer to Mombasa International Airport, where you’ll connect with your international flight for your journey back home, concluding your two-week adventure safari in Kenya.
